Living next to the ocean on Napier’s Bluff Hill, the artist finds both inspiration and contemplation in the sight sound and smell of the waves crashing into the shingle beach below. Many works have resulted from this close relationship with the ocean most notably Whites' Major solo show "Call of the Ocean” held in 2019 at Sanderson Contemporary in Auckland.
